Minnesota Space Grant Consortium announced the “Secret Message Challenge” for the 2025-2026 Midwest High-Power Rocketry Competition taking place May 16-17, 2026. Information meeting on September 15 at 7 p.m. Non-binding NOIs are due September 30. WSGC teams can apply for funding through the National Competitions and Programs funding opportunity.

The 24th annual Wisconsin Space Conference was held Aug. 15, 2014, at BioPharmaceutical Technology Center in Fitchburg, Wis. The theme of this year’s conference was Commercial Space Flight. Conference hosts were BioPharmaceutical Technology Center and ORBITEC.
The conference’s keynote speaker was Jeff Johnson, Environmental Control and Life Support System Program Manager for SNC Dream Chaser, Orbital Technologies Corporation in Madison.
