Minnesota Space Grant Consortium announced the “Secret Message Challenge” for the 2025-2026 Midwest High-Power Rocketry Competition taking place May 16-17, 2026. Information meeting on September 15 at 7 p.m. Non-binding NOIs are due September 30. WSGC teams can apply for funding through the National Competitions and Programs funding opportunity.

Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Samuel Dick! Samuel is a recipient of the 2022-2023 WSGC Undergraduate Scholarship.
Samuel Dick is a non-traditional Mechanical Engineering student currently attending the UW- Oshkosh UW-Platteville engineering partnership. He has previously worked as a Mechanical Designer in the automotive industry and remote site construction but has recently accepted an engineering internship with Nercon Engineering & Mfg. Inc. He has lived with his wife and son in Oshkosh, WI, for the last 7 years.
